Acupuncture

A full-body acupuncture treatment includes a full intake to evaluate your overall state of wellness and make an appropriate diagnosis and corresponding treatment plan. Diagnosis and treatment plans are based primarily in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Zang-Fu theory, but at times a Five Elements approach may be used instead. Both approaches seek to restore balance to your energetic and physical bodies. Your treatment plan will include acupuncture as well as lifestyle modification coaching (such as dietary changes, activity suggestions, meditation, etc). I may also incorporate other modalities such as cupping, gua sha, sound therapy, ear seeds or moxa. All of these are included as part of your acupuncture treatment and there is no additional charge.

Initial acupuncture consultation and treatment (75 minutes) – $75

Follow-up acupuncture treatment (45 minutes) – $40

Acupuncture packages are available:

  • 5 Follow-up acupuncture treatments (can be used to initiate treatment for new condition or continue treatment for an existing or on-going condition(s) – $175
  • 10 Follow-up acupuncture treatments (can be used to initiate treatment for new condition or continue treatment for an existing or on-going condition(s) – $375

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is used to treat stagnation of qi and/or blood in the meridians and tissues of the body. Although cupping can be used almost anywhere on the body, it is most often used to on the back to relieve back pain. It is also commonly used as a treatment for cellulite on the buttocks and thighs. I use the traditional fire cupping method. Cupping may be included in your individual acupuncture treatment or you may also schedule a stand-alone 30-minute cupping session which will include a brief assessment to ensure cupping is a safe and appropriate therapy for you at that time. If it is determined you cannot receive a cupping therapy during our assessment, I will discuss possible alternatives or you will receive a credit to your account for future services. Cupping sessions are $25.

Facial Rejuvenation

All facial rejuvenation sessions include the application of herbal, TCM-inspired facial products, acupressure massage, gua sha, and facial cupping. You may also choose to include facial rejuvenation acupuncture which can address more chronic or severe signs of aging or cosmetic concerns.

A facial rejuvenation session with acupressure massage only is a great option for a self-care treat or to freshen the face before an important event such as a wedding, prom, graduation, milestone birthday party, etc. These facial rejuvenation sessions are gentle and relaxing and will give your face a healthy, radiant glow. Although a single facial acupressure massage session is a lovely treat all on its own, you may also purchase them in packages of 5 or 10 as a gift for your future self or as part of a regular maintenance regimen. Each package option is discounted such that you get one session free as part of the package!

Facial rejuvenation with acupuncture will also give you the spa-like pampering you deserve, but it is most effective as a more structured treatment plan rather than a single session. Many people see some positive results after their first facial acupuncture treatment, but in order to achieve full results you must complete a series of weekly treatments – your individualized treatment plan (including number of treatments) will be discussed after your first visit. Therefore it is highly recommended that you purchase a package of treatments – not only do they help to reduce gaps between treatments but they will also save you money.

Facial Rejuvenation w/ Facial Acupuncture (90 minutes) – $75

Facial Rejuvenation w/ Facial Acupressure Massage (60 minutes) – $50

Facial rejuvenation packages:

  • 5 treatments – with facial acupuncture $325 / with facial acupressure $200
  • 10 treatments – with facial acupuncture $675 / with facial acupressure $450

Acu-Detox and Auricular Acupuncture

Acu-Detox (also known as NADA Protocol) is a 5-point auricular (ear) acupuncture protocol developed specifically for the treatment of addiction and substance abuse. However, because it addresses the underlying imbalances and conditions that lead to addiction, it is also an excellent treatment for anxiety, depression, insomnia, and to help alleviate the effects of stress.

Acu-Detox will be available as a stand-alone option soon, and currently may be used as part of an individual treatment plan. However there are times when I offer Acu-Detox at pop-up events. Join the mailing list to be notified of these special events, as well as other updates, specials and holistic health information.
